Twenty-some-odd years later, and I’m back in college.
I survived my first year back in school!
You know what, though? I more than just “survived”.
Aside from Mythology and Statistics, I’d say this was a perfect year.

One more semester, and I’ll be transferring to a four-year college to complete my Bachelor’s degree.
I definitely made the right decision.

I wanted to demonstrate what a blog is, what it could be, and how googling for specific blogs could provide relevant information, particularly to the non-traditional student. I stumbled on to your blog and believe you have a great wealth of information that students — whether non-traditional OR traditonal — could use. Please keep blogging . . . it may be summer, but we’re still in class.
By the way, CONGRATULATIONS on an outstanding year!!
Thanks for reading! I’ll stay on top of this blog. I seem to have been “favoring” my other blogs. đŸ˜›
Christine, thank you for this blog. I have worked in a community college for ten years, and appreciate the perspective of non-traditional students (who are actually becoming more the ‘tradition’ than traditional students). Keep up the good work. I see you have a course on your transcript called First Year Tradition. Can you tell me anything about this course at your college? I am interested in learning about the value of such courses to all entering college freshman.
@ drloomac: Thanks for reading! I will post a blog about the First Year Connection in the next day or so. It might be worth sharing with readers.
